Chicago bum culture

“Bum” is a job for all people. No matter what ganders or age. Sometimes a bum can make more than a part time job worker.
Chicago bums have their own block, it’s like they have their own territory. If they follow people they will try not to walk out of their own block.

There are two specific McDonald’s in the Loop that interest me. One is on the corner of Wabash and Adams. The other is on State Street in between Jackson and Adams. I eat lunch at one of these fast food restaurants every now and then. Here, at McDonald’s, you can always learn about how people think and interact with each other.

art show 4.21.07
Last saturday’s art show started a bit late but ended with a bang. The turnout was amazing, thanks to everyone that showed up. No commentsTraffic Control?
It was last year when I first noticed them. By them, I mean the traffic controllers, the people in neon yellow vests that stand at the loop’s major intersections during rush hour. I watched two such ladies at the intersection of State and Jackson from a bus window one day and I got to thinking- what are these people doing?
