Screen Printing in Chicago
Chicago has a rich history in the field of poster printing, and several people have been carrying on that tradition. Some of the major contributors have been Screwball Press, The Bird Machine, and also Jay Ryan (a member of Bird Machine and a graduate of Columbia College Chicago). These people have helped keep the tradition of show posters alive.
Screwball Press even invites in other artists to work on their material inside their shop, and also offers the Screwball Academy to teach people new to screen printing.
So screw those hippies in California, and all those bastids with sticks up their asses on the east coast, the fly over states are the place to be for screen printing!
