Flossmoor, IL
Flossmoor, Illinois is the next door neighbor to Homewood. The town has a lot more ordinances than Homewood and can be seen as uptight. Well, there are a few good things in Flossmoor.
With ordinances against parking your car on the street overnight, parking a pick up truck in your driveway, parking a car with a company logo on it in your driveway, and having rust on a car in your driveway, you’re gonna have to have some nice scenery to attract people. So they’ve got this little circle drive thing in the middle of downtown. That looks neat right?
Well if that doesn’t tickle your fancy, they just built a new fancy library. It puts the old one to shame, as its twice the size and has a free wi-fi connection .
Still not impressed? Well there’s a fancy Restaurant Brewery in Downtown Flossmoor. This is pretty much the only night life action Flossmoor has to offer.
One really cool thing in Flossmoor is the bricks you can by for the ground in that little circle drive they have. You can put the name of a deceased loved one, accomplished teacher, or even just your family name. 
While there are a few things to do, if you live in Flossmoor, you’ll find you spend most of your leisure time in the surrounding suburbs.
