Spacca Napoli
Spacca Napoli is a small pizzeria located in Ravenswood, on the corner of Ravenswood and Sunnyside. It’s a tiny oasis of authentic Italian goodness tucked along the industrial corridor of Ravenswood.
Spacca Napoli’s pizzas are authentic, brick-oven baked Naples-style pizza.
They use fresh, all-imported ingredients, and don’t pile on the cheese like “American” pizza. The crust is thin and crunchy yet soft in the middle, and they use only a small amount of sauce. They don’t even cut it unless you ask. Their pizzas are portioned for individual size- about 12 inches.
In a city of overstuffed, over-cheesed, 2 gallons of sauce on one slice of pizza (I’m not the biggest deep dish fan…), Spacca Napoli is a rare and tasty find. They do pizza like it was meant to be. After all, they’re the ones who invented it!
Apart from pizza, they also offer antipasti, beer (italian beer!), wine, dolci (dessert- tiramisu and spumoni- what’s not to love?), and an array of Italian sodas.

The atmosphere is sort of old world meets modern- great service and friendly staff who will help you pronounce the names on the all-italian menu. (don’t worry- it’s easy to figure out!) They also have nice outdoor seating in the summer.
So, if you’re feeling like a real, authentic Italian dining experience, try Spacca Napoli!
