A trend in “Chi-Tonw”
No, that’s not a typo. There’s a trendy tattoo to get in these parts. People are getting the name “Chi-Tonw” on them. That’s right, “Chi-Tonw”, not “Chi-Town.” And you thought dudes wearing chick pants was a weird trend.
Tattoo artist, Sam Hacker, is responsible for the start of this trend. However, he did not intentionally start it. Michael Duplessis requested “Chi-Town” be tattooed on him, but he received a “Chi-Tonw” tattoo from Hacker. Of course Duplessis filed a law suit against Hacker, claiming he suffered emotional damage from the tattoo, as he liked to take of his shirt frequently and people would laugh at the mistake.
Anyways, friends of Hacker and fellow tattoo artists got the tattoo as well in support of Hacker through these times. Hacker then got the tattoo himself and a trend was born. People began to request the misspelled tattoo. There are now “Chi-Tonw” T-shirts and even Hacker’s parents have a bumper sticker.
